OSHC Enrolment Form

At Giggles and Growth, we are committed to providing a seamless and supportive enrolment and orientation process for all families. Our policy ensures that each  child and their family feel welcomed, informed, and confident as they join our community. We aim to create a positive transition experience that encourages a sense of belonging
and sets the foundation for a successful and enjoyable time in our care.

Enrolment Process

  1. Initial Inquiry: Families interested in enrolling their child at Giggles and Growth can inquire via phone, email, or in person. Our staff will provide information about our programs, availability, and the steps required to proceed with enrolment.
  2. Enrolment Form Completion: Families must complete the Enrolment Form, providing detailed information about their child, including medical conditions, dietary requirements, emergency contacts, and authorised pick-up persons. This form must be submitted along with any necessary documentation, such as immunization records
  3. Confirmation of Enrolment: Once the Enrolment Form and all required documents are received, families will be notified of their child’s acceptance into the program including details of the agreed start date and any necessary fees.

Orientation Process

  1. Welcome and Introduction: This session introduces the child and their family to our staff, facilities, and daily routines. It provides an opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns.
  2. Tour of Facilities: Families will be given a tour of our facilities, including play areas, classrooms, and emergency exits.
  3. Information Sharing: We will discuss the child’s individual needs, including any special dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions. We will also explain our daily routines, policies, and procedures, ensuring that families are fully informed and prepared.

Transition Support

  1. Gradual Introduction: To ensure a smooth transition, we offer a phased start for new children, where they can begin with shorter sessions before gradually moving to full participation. This approach allows the child to adjust at their own pace.
  2. Family Involvement: We encourage families to stay with their child during the initial sessions if needed, helping to build a sense of security and comfort.

Ongoing Communication

  1. Regular Updates: We maintain regular communication with families, providing updates on their child’s progress, and any observations made during the transition period. We are always available to discuss any concerns or questions that may arise.
